Fourfold Bypass Surgery

Posted By Ivan Hradecky on April 30, 1999 at 23:12:18

Dear Sir(s),
My dad is 68 years old and will on May 18th undergo fourfold bypass surgery.I would like to know how risky is this surgery, what will exactly happened, and what are his chances to get back to "normal" health?
How will be his life like after the surgery and what he has to take care about? Does his current condition has anything to do with his life style and habits? Am I right if I do believe it isn't genetically inherited?
I would really appreciate your help. Thank you very much indeed.

Sincerely,
Ivan
