This discussion is related to Ablation for svt w/ abberancy.

I have had two PVA  and one keyhole surgery all without success.  The last time I talked to the electrophysiologist  he talked of AV ablation with the insertion of a pacemaker.  I would still be on warfarin but off amiodarone. The range of my heart rand would be greater ow the pacemander than with the amiodarone with which I can only obtain a maximum heart rate of 100.

What are the risks of AV ablation and how successful is this procedure with the use of a pacemaker? The electrophysiologist claimed that the patients he has had go through the procedure wished they had had the procedure to begin with.
