Gas pass

Hi, My situation is I pass gas constantly like every 15-20 minutes during the day and it is affecting my life more than ever, and I just need help.  I went to two doctors already and they both said to take over the counter medicine and I did that for two weeks and I still feel the same.  Please help me figure out if I have to take any specific tests to find out if I have an illness.  Thank You, k_owen.

If you have a nervous problem this could cause gas & IBS too.  The nerves do weird things to the body.  I'm sure you're watching the kinds of foods you eat & drink?  Fizzy drinks (sodas) cause more gas.  Do you try an occasional alka seltzer?  It has baking soda in it. That could help, or just 1/2 tsp of baking soda in water.   Cabbage, beans, brocolli and some other foods can cause gas.  Research on -line about it. Also, milk can be the culprit.  Leave it off & see what happens.  Also, high fat diets causes more acid.  One of my books says to leave off Coffee, & other caffiene drinks, & less/no alchohol.  Also take enteric-coated aspirin in you take them, or Tylenol.  It also suggest that acid fruit juices could cause problems. (organge & grapfruit).   Alot of stuff to try I know.  Best of luck with all this.  Research, research!
