Gastric/Heart connection

I am curious then if this could be a cause of increased palpitations and nausea in a DCM patient after eating? My own appetite has decreased dramatically with this illness and I think partly that is due to the increase of problematic symptoms when I eat, even small portions (so I mentally dont want to eat because it makes me feel sick). I have learnt to eat very small amounts frequently to try to minimize the problem, but am curious if perhaps the above quote could explain why the symptoms are worsened temporarily after eating.
