I've been dealing with the same issue and Gatorade initially helped me too! ... I was in the ER for my PVCs when I drank 3 bottles of Gatorade and they suddenly stopped. Since then I found that supplementing potassium and magnesium helps a lot! I ordered Liquid IV from Amazon (small powder packets) and it has significantly more potassium than Gatorade. When my PVCs start I drink one of those and they usually stop within 10 minutes. My doctor tells me all my bloodwork is fine, but for some reason, the potassium is the key for me. I recommend trying it. However, be careful supplementing too much potassium. I recommend starting with Liquid IV (370 mg per serving) and seeing if it helps.
I believe that this (Gatorade causes PVC after a few days of repeated consumption) is also happening to me, I had suspected magnesium supplement in the past so I avoid that, and now gatorade is also suspect, there are the only two items I suspect are causing my PVC which feel like a random chest compression (as if some one pushed on my chest very briefly) - thanks for sharing.

Gatorade is a high glycemic source.....meaning it raises blood sugar quickly.......that is a no no for most people who have palps.........
It is designed to take after exercise to replenish when the body is most succeptable to take in sugar to replace it in the muscle tissue...........but any other time is just sugar water that is unhealthy to drink and raises the heart rate........that sugar will be stored as fat if there is no demand from a post workout for muscles to store up the sugar from it........
No, not dehydrated. maybe it just helps. it all boils down to a thyroid issue I think
you are probably a bit dehydrated.. it could be an electrolyte issue, but i doubt it.. Generally you have to be severly dehydrated or overly hydrated before you see a severe induced electrolye imbalance.. Like, no longer producing spit kind of dehydrated... Or maybe gatorade is just like a comfort food to you :) Milk always seems to "cure" what ails me.
Gatorade makes mine worse, unless I am dehydrated or ill.
He has me on atenolol for 4 weeks. I'm supposed to see him when I run out. Maybe I can ask for a test then.
Your doctor can test them with a routine blood test. Actually, electrolyte issues would not be that bad...at least maybe you would know what is causing your PVCs and how you can help them by taking supplements for your potassium and magnesium levels. What sucks is not having a clue what is causing these stupid things and/or how you might get rid of them! :)
You mean this could be an electrolyte issue?!
All this trouble for THAT. Ugh.
How can I get my electrolytes tested?!
It is probably the fact that it's replacing your electrolytes. You may have low electrolytes which are causing your PVCs and Gatorade has electrolytes in it which are possibly helping your PVCs!
