Getting Pregnant after PFO Closure

Hi,

I had a PFO closure last October. My doctor told me that I needed to wait 6 months after the procedure to become pregnant. My 6 months are almost up and we want to start trying soon. I was just wondering if there was anyone out there w a PFO or a PFO closure that has become pregnant and their experiences, special treatment, doctors that they saw? etc. I am a bit scared BUT that is the main reason I had the closure anyway, so I could become pregnant w less risks...

i had pfo closure surgery november of 2006 i was 19 years of age i am now 23 years of age and getting ready to deliver my very first child (Cant Wait!!!!) i have had no complications i did have to see a specialist one time in Las Vegas to see if the had to anticoagulate me but it wasnt neccessary. i believe if i can go through this with no problems then anyone else can too cause im a big baby when it comes to pain haha although i am terrified to have another baby after this so i might be talking to the dr about tubal ligation seems how we can have birth control.
