Good VO2 Max = Healthy Heart???
My VO2 max is considered "very good" as per a fit test I took.  Does this mean my heart is completely healthy??  Or can there STILL be underlying problems even with a "good" VO2 max number?

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Cardiac output, pulmonary diffusion capacity, oxygen carrying capacity, and other peripheral factors like muscle diffusion capacity, enzymes and capillary density are all  VO2 max determinants. The body works as a "system". So, good VO2max reflects a good physiological working capacity of all these factors.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
