I'm 58 and have been told I should have a cardio light test every year. After three years the results have been great with no changes to the heart. Isn't every year a bit much?

i think so, especially if all the previous test were negative.  It also depends on your symptoms of course.   I you are asymptomatic, meaning, no chest pain or shortness of breath on exertion or at rest, I would say that you don't need the test at all.
