Okey dokey. 250/130 is an acute hypertensive crisis and you are lucky not to have suffered a stroke. Yes, you have hypertension. How advanced? How many angels are on the head of a pin? What difference does it make. Make up your mind you have taken your last drink. What part of death isn't clear to you? Barbarella is correct in suggesting your BP meds could cause these side effects. Also correct in suggesting an enlarged left ventricle comes from your high BP. And you need to talk to your physician. You have problems that are probably solveable at this stage, but you have some decisions to make. And yes, I would also go with barbarellas excellent suggestion to see a hypertension specialist.

You say after two months your BP is under control.  I assume that you are now on BP meds.  Your BP meds could give you side effects as in dizziness.  As for the pressure in your chest I'd talk to my doctor about that.  You can get this pressure if your BP is very high, but since you say its now under control I don't know.  Do you have a home monitor to check your BP at home?

Your enlarged Left Ventricle comes from high BP in most cases.

Have you seen a Cardiologist or a Hypertension Specialist?
