HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AND CIRULATION PROBLEMS

by SCHNEIDER, Feb 03, 1999 12:00AM
My mother in law is 76 and taking blood pressure pills daily.  She keeps having these
episodes of a (electrical) shocking feeling in her legs.  Is it possible
that her blood pressure is too low?  Is this a possible side effect from
blood pressure medication?  Her Doctor says her blood pressure is fine and can't
find anything wrong with her.  she also experiences a throbbing in her legs
  at night.

Dear SCHNEIDER,
These are not typical symptoms of low blood pressure or of blood pressure medication.  Does your mother have diabetes.  Nerve damage due to diabetes can sometimes cause this type of thing.
