by cahtrbox, Jan 28, 2009 11:31AM
I am currently taking Toprol Xl and am 48 years old. I recently 4 weeks ago had a Bilateral oopherectomy. I ask the surgeon after my follow that I was having ten hotflashes at night alone. He reluctantly gave me HRT in the lowest dose of .3mg. * days ago satartd that. I also take Toprol in the a.m. for Tachycardia. Is this safe and should a take both doses at the same time. I am confused. I am to see a Gyn at the end of February and want to know when the Premarin will kick in. I need help!!!!

If you just have tachycardia, I am wondering why Tropol XL?  Did you ever use other medication for tachycardia such as Tenormin?  I get hot flashes sometimes also.  Sometimes I get them all day and sometimes I go many days without getting any.  We have a ton of cancer in our family, so I stay away from Premarin.
