Has Anyone felt Sick on Metoorolol

I have taken Metoprolol 25 mg per day for one month. I feel horrible from head to toe....like I have the flu, body aches, cant sleep...feel horrible from head to toe.  I call it a very malaise sick feeling. Will this go away or will I just live with this kind of hell  ? I'm on it for unexplained tachycardia.lts just making me feel ill all over. Will this eventually go away or am I just going to have to put up with constant tachycardia and wean myself off the metoprolol.

You have posted concerns abou this drug many times in this forum and the only thing I can say now is to let your doctor know all of this.  If this is a big problem for you there are other alternatives to Metoprolol. I have taken this drug (100mg) for over 8 years with no problems. Your doctor wiould be the best person to confide in.  Take care, Ally

I just want to add ,...my symptoms are...,body aches, heart poiunding, insomniam, anxiety, muscles aching all over. Has anybody been able to wean off of this successfully for unexplained tachy. I feel like this drug is poisoning me. I feel worse than I ever have in my whole life. Is there any beta blocker that doesn't make you feel so sick. They only put me on it for tachy.....and they can't explain where that comes from even after an echo and ecg. The tachy came on after an upper endoscopy and it never went away after 5 days. Is there a milder version of a beta blocker that doesn't make you feel so incredibly ill. I'm laying here tonight feeling so sick on this stuff. I am bed ridden from an auto accident. It makes me incredible ill all over and the doctros don't seem to care no matter whom i talk to .....the cardiologist or internist. DOes this stuff kill you or just make you really sick. I thiought that after a month these side effects would go away.
