The fact that the nitro spray doesn't even temporarily take away the chest pain suggests that you have some other issue rather than angina, but that is not always the case.  Usually if nitro doesn't give some relief, a heart attack follows, at least in my case.
A few thoughts...
Nitro can lower blood pressure to a dangerous level.  I'm not sure you meant that when you have a pain you take three or four hits of nitro, or you have tried a spray of nitro with three or four events.  I'd limit your hits to two, three at the most or you could pass out.
Did the medical facility do a bloodwork check?  I'm sure they did an ECG.  Also, are you taking slow release nitro medications?  Sometimes your body builds up to a resistance to them, making nitro hits less effective.  Are your breathing troubles worse when you are exercising?
Chest pain after stents has to be examined for cause.  I'd suggest you keep a log of when the pain/breathing issues occur, what you were doing/eating, etc.  I also trust you aren't smoking.  Another cause of chest pain can be spasms caused by the stent.  I'd be nervous about taking Morphine after experiencing un-diagnosed chest pains.

I think your best solution is to keep pestering your GP, even if it means seeing them every other day. What you need are proper tests to evaluate if your heart is in need of attention or not and an ECG is not always the tool for this. Angina is not a comfortable thing to live with.

Thanks for comments,

Well yes , I've been taken nitro spray at first it works, but like you say after awhile its effects not so good ,  their is a problem as had some type of heart scan and its showing some problems but Medical say not sure what it is so more checks to be done , ever since putting stents in had pain all the time till finnished then passed out just after , sweating, blood pressure though the roof, my oxygen level 88/90 not to good , well the NHS where I've been treated gives this all the time and send you home  never want to find the cause , I never had this problem till ive been stented and regret letting them do this ,  yes I used to smoke but stopped same day, evening at rest my breathing very bad . never had that before. my mobility is very poor so exercising no go at the moment.   no problems when eat/drinking.     ps I am not taken slow release nitro , I am on asprin 75mls one per day, but told when i get the pain take 4x75ml if little effect call 999. also taken clopidogrel 75m we no that i have had to heart attacks since . my stent , my  blood  pressure is  180/91 at rest    .
I am awaiting more tests.

once again thanks for you comments

Do you have a nitro spray? if so, does a squirt of this under the tongue make the discomfort go away?
