Has anyone had a CC Second Opinion?

A cardiologist has recommened I have a cath after he gave me a stress echo. I am interested in a second opinion and was wondering if anyone has had a CC remote second opinion and whether they found it helpful. I would especially be interested in if you had one for an echo results and if you have any particular cardiologist to recommend for the second opinion. Thanks for any information you may have to share.

Thank you for taking the time to tell me about your experience. One question I had was  - how does the 2nd opinion doctor get back to you? Did they send e-mail, phone, ..?

My wife had a  2nd opinion by the E Cleveland Clinic and they were very helpful.  Everything they said  was pretty much what other opinions said but they advised against 1 thing and they were the only ones so of course we went with the majority.  CC was dead on. She didn't need the last procedure - it was actually more harmful.  So my advice is send it in. Its a lot of paperwork and copying but it's worth it.  She actually sent in another opinion earlier this year (2nd time) and they gave it to the same Dr who read her films the 1st time for consistency.  That Dr isn't taking new E Clinic patients now a he acepted a position elsewhere iat CC but I'm sure they are all fine.  Good luck.
