Heart Attack Possibility

Hi,

I am 19 years old and have been having weird pain in the left chest and left arm for the past 5 days or so. I got an ECG done two days ago and nothing was found out of the ordinary. However, when I was getting the ECG done, I was not experiencing any of the symptoms that I was beforehand and now. Today I had intense pain in the left arm and a bit in the left shoulder. The pain was mainly focused in the triceps and a bit in the forearm/wrist. I also got some tightness in the chest. I seriously felt like I was having symptoms of a heart attack and was freaking out a bit. Maybe some of the freaking out amplified the symptoms. My parents seem to think this is all in my head. I took some Ibuprofen and relaxation medicine and that seemed to help. Right now I still feel a bit left chest and left arm discomfort although not as intense. After having normal ECG the doctor gave me some stomach medicine thinking it was that. Should I be worried?

Thanks!

At your age, it is highly unlikely you are having a heart attack.  You may have a vertebrae out of alignment.  I started noticing less chest pains and such after I started seeing a really good chiropractor.
