Heart Catherization

Four weeks ago I had a heart cath done.  In the process of inserting the cath I had pain going down my thigh.  They injected lidocaine.  I am still having pain in the same spot.  What did they do that would continue to give me pain?

They may have hit a never that runs that causing some minor damage.  It will improve over time.  However, you should have an ultrasound of your groin to make sure there are no vascular complications there.
