Heart Disease limitations

I have had a mitral valve replaced, I have congestive heart failure, leaking tricuspid and aortic valves, coronary artery disease, COPD, diabetes and neuropathy in my hands and feet.  Should I be vacuuming floors? Or doing any heavy lifting? What kind of exercise should I limit myself to?

Are you in concested heart failure mode?  Or have you been and being treated for the condition?  I have had CHF but medication has increased the the contractility of the pumping chamber,  and the heart is functioning normally so I don't have any limitations with exertion.

You have a respiratory conditon that may effect your heart's ability to provide or compromise  an adequate supply of blood oxygen when the system's demand increases with exertion.  You should get some form of exercise, but it is difficult to know unless there is an examination. Your doctor should advise.

There is a stress test (treadmill, etc,) that monitors an individuals vitals with increasing demand for blood oxygen as exertion is increased.  Based on an individual's vital signs, the  examiner can conclude the degree of exertion would be beneficial.

I hope this helps provide a perspective for you.  Thanks for the question, and if you have any followup questions you are welcome to respond.  Take care.
