Heart Lesions
How long can a 85 year old who has 3 lesions on their heart live without having open heart surgery?

You don't provide much information as lesions could mean scar tissue from a prior heart attack, and if that is the situation, prognosis would depend on the degree of heart wall muscle has occurred...usually from a prior heart attack.  There is no surgery for this condition, but there has been some success with stem cell therapy, and may or may not be an option.

Sometimes the medical community refers to coronary vessel blockages as lesions.  Surgery is avaliable as a bypass procedure of the blocked vessels and may or may not be appropriate.

Too many variables to predict an individual's life span.
