Heart Problems?

Ok so I'm 18, weigh 110kg, 16cm tall. I do exercise every morning for about an hour. However I check my heart rate before I go to bed (which is at rest) and it is always around 108 - 120bpm. I check mine again this morning (an hour after walking and it's worse. 138bpm, last night it was 126bpm. I don't drink anything caffeinated, always drink water. My blood pressure is normally around 130-85. When I'm exercising i get out of breath really easily, but recently I have been getting strange pains in my chest (like a heavy something). So is that a problem or not, if so what can I do? I have asked this question before, I just wan to make sure not to waist the doctors time.

I was wondering about that.  So you're about 5'5", in the terms that I think about it, and about 242 lb.  That would give you a BMI of about 40, and that's enough body mass to place a strain on your cardiovascular system.  I don't think you will be wasting the doctor's time to go in and discuss the symptoms you are having.  There is reason for concern about your long term health.  Yes, I think you should go to the doctor, and I also think it will be even more important for you to find a way to get down to a healthy weight.  There are many good approaches to weight loss.  There has to be one out there that's right for you.  It might not be the first approach you try, or the second one, or the third one, but there is a way of eating that will work for you.  You need a diet that you enjoy and are comfortable with, so that your new habits will be sustainable for a lifetime.  Feeling deprived doesn't work.  You need a healthy way of eating that is satisfying.  I invite you to get started on finding out what diet will work for you, and don't give up.  If you take on the search as a project, and stick with it, you will find the answer.  The doctor can check your heart to make sure there is nothing wrong with it except that it is having to work too hard.  Hopefully, the doctor can also help with diet advice.  Good luck.

Congratulations on your exercise program.  I hope it is medically supervised.  You might want to check your heart rate and blood pressure right before and right after exercising, as well as an hour after.  Those three measurements will show a lot about your heart's response to exercise and its ability to recover.  I would do that for at least a few days, and write down the results, so you can show your doctor when you see him or her.
