Heart palpitations after bypass surgery
I'm 38 and a relatively healthy male who had double bypass surgery on Feb. 13 of this year. I had an 80% blockage of my LAD that was stented in October of 08 but it stenosed which led to the bypass. It was a double because the stent caged a small artery next to the blockage and they decided to fix both while they had me open. I've been doing very well since the surgery and have been getting more energy and less pain every day. But, over the last few days I've been having heart palpitations, at least one or two a day. Anyone know what could cause this? I've stayed away from caffine. Is this something I should be concerned about since my surgery was only about 11 weeks ago?
