Heart palpitations caused by drug use, help!

Hi I'm a 20 year old male, I've been known to take some drugs on occasional weekends not all the time, at the weekend just there I took some cocaine and a little bit of MDMA not a lot, my heart rate started beating so fast I was terrified I phoned an ambulance and the paramedic said my heart was up to 176! They put me on a drip and calmed me down and gave me a couple of tablets, done a chest x Ray and stuff but they didn't seem to concerned just really telling me to stop it and it's bad for me, I'm definetly not taking anything like that ever again, but the last couple a days I've been having pains in my chest and my upper back and stuff and sometimes feel as if my breath is kind of heavy then I start giving myself a panic attack because I'm thinking about it all , I'm really scared incase I've done permanent damage or something, would anything have shown up on the x ray if there was or something? I'm just really scared and feel stupid for having bringing this on myself! Someone help me please?

I used to take a lot of cocaine in massive amounts (3-4 grams per day).  I now have an enlarged left ventricle and will need aortic valve replacement.  seek the help of a cardiologist.  you shold be scared.  lots of people die from cocaine use every year. but, you should also chill out.  usually, cocaine use does make your heart beat that fast.  It can come and go as well.  also, mdma is not as pure as it used to be.  stop all unnatural drugs including cocaine.  if its processed, or speeds you up: its bad.

It can take 2 weeks for the effects of those substances to stop. Just relax and let it take its course. PLEASE STOP POISONING YOURSELF :(
