Hey guys. I'm going to be completely straight up with you. I played football during hs. I've never minded working out and cardio stuff. Kinda like it actually. But here is the big problem.... i'm taller than average at 6'5-6'6 but i'm really fat. like 400 pounds fat. but i'm active. I can run and do whatever no problem. But i don't watch what i eat and im a couch potato. I have heart pains. It doesn't hurt per say but it scares me. Im not really sure how to explain it. feels like weight on my heart and occasional shooting pains My main concern is heart attack and stroke........but im defiantly going to be starting a diet this week, no doubt.
You are probably not experiencing heart issues at your age, but see a doctor to be sure. You are most likely having pains from your muscle and bone structures but only a doctor can tell you for sure.
The good news is at 18 you have a long time to make some changes. Get your doctor to put you in an exercise program that works for you, start eating healthy and learn bout what you can do. You most likely have not had time to build up any blockages in your arteries yet, but your headed towards a life of heart and kidney disease if you don't make changes now. Its much easier to do at 18 rather than 38. Do it now,
