Hi:
Can anyone tell me what does a single false tendon at the apex of the left ventricle mean on a echo stress test. The left ventricle is normal in size, left ventricular systolic function is normal the baseline diastolic function is normal mitral annular lateral E/e 6.2  Mitral annular septal E/e 7.5

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Left ventricular false tendons are fibrous bands that stretch from the septal wall to the wall of the ventricle. They are normal variants and are detected incidentally and are not related to an underlying cardiac condition.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
