Help for my cardiomyopathy

I was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy a year ago and my life has changed because i have a lvad and i have to go to school with it and it hurts,to come from someone who played basketball and soccer to a kid that just stays inside.I wanted to ask what can i do to get rid of my cardiomyopathy (caused by the flu) and what can i do fro my ef to go up.Also how many people have ever fully recovered from cardiomyopathy ?

As you are 16 years old and have got post viral cardiomyopathy , I regard it a treatable disease although cure rate is not 100%. I have seen miracles in my 20 yrs cardiology practice even at a time when treatment choice was not abundant . Even today despite not having LVAD available in our country, we have a good prognosis only with medications like
ACEI/ARB, carvedilol, spironolactone ect.
                                        Be optimistic one day you will get rid of this calamity.
