Help with PVC's

I'm a healthy 30 year old female who has always been active and eats well.  I suddenly began experiencing PVC's while on vacation.  I continued to have them for a month before I went to the ER because they were so severe.  I had got a holter and had 10,000 extra beats in 24 hrs.  My EKG showed the PVC's and so did all the monitors they hooked me up to.  I got a stress Echo and they said my heart looked good, and that the PVC's died down during strenuous exercise.  The only thing is, several hours after I exercise I get them really bad.  So, eventually I was refereed to an electrocardiologist who said that he wasn't sure why I was having these so frequently.  My heart was fine and my tests were normal, he suggested an invasive surgery that may or may not help.  After about three months of the PVC's I started experiencing other symptoms like extreme exhaustion, hair loss, and pale skin.  I went to the doctor and my blood test came back that I had a slow thyroid (hypothyroid).  I just started medication a few days ago and my PVC's seem to be getting even worse.  I was hoping the hypothyroidism was the cause of the PVC's and that they would improve with the medicine.  I'm at a loss because I was so healthy and then one day all this started happening.  What could be the cause?  Am I correct in thinking that everything is related?  Please help, I don't want to live like this!!!

It is quite possible that your thyroid disorder may be related to your frequent PVC's. Please note that it takes more than a few days for your thyroid function to normalize on medication, so you may not see any improvement just yet. At this time, a few weeks of therapy are needed to determine if the current treatment is working.

Frequent PVC's in an otherwise structurally normal heart that are symptomatic, not related to any other underlying medical condition or reversible cause, and can't be controlled by medication such as beta blockers, would be an indication for an ablation study.
