Hematoma after cardiac ablation

I had ablation done on 1/29/16 and was in recovery when I formed a hematoma on my right groin. 4 people then applied pressure for an agonizing 1/2 hour. I am very swollen and bruised. I am home now and am applying cold compress and taking tylenol for any discomfort. Is there anything else I should be doing?

I have had the same experience. It happens quite often.
In my case the area was sore and had me limping for more than a week.

Very probable that the blood will (due to gravity) slowly go in the direction of the knee and give your leg the most beautiful colors.
