High Blood Pressure and high Pulse Rate

by iblady2009, Jan 24, 2009 04:15PM
I have high blood pressure, and this morning when I got up I had a burning in my chest like heart burn, my blood pressure was 177/104 and my pulse rate was 90, I continued to take my pressure, at one point it went down to 140/87, and pulse rate was 108, then about an hour later my blood pressure was 150/104 and my pulse rate was 192 then a few minutes later it was 152/81 and the pulse rate was down to 81.What is going on, should I be worried? I am 52 years old, and on my period (which I have only once or twice a year) could the loss of blood be causing my heart to race or should I be worried. I had a angioplasty 3 years ago and my heart was fine.
