High Blood Pressure?

My blood pressure has always been a perfect reading.  Lately its been 150/73.  Well the last time I checked it.  I don't check it that often.

How do you know for sure if you need to be on medicine?  I'm going to the dr. on Monday.

Thanks

normal bp is 120/70, anything 140/80 or over is generally considered high,  with what your reading I would just watch sodium intake, exercise a bit more and if you do need bp meds, a diruetic (water pill) would be first choice.
