I found out when I was 71 (now 75) that I have a hole in my heart. I had what appeared to be a stroke but nothing showed on MRI's. I have migraine with aura. Neurologist thought perhaps I had a hemiplegic attack which caused the strokes. I was unconcious for many hours and had 3 or 4 episodes whilst in hospital. Is there anything I can do other than fill the hole that will help me? I have chronic vertigo too. That was diagnosed when I was 69 years. I still get the auras without headache most of the time.
