Holter and LVH

Is holter monitor able to detect LVH if there is any? Thanks.

No, the only way to detect LVH is with an echocardiogram.

detect LVH. Isn't holter a portable ECG? Thanks.

Hi....this physician is right. We've been through about 10 specialists with my teenage son. While an EKG can give the suggestion of left ventricular hypertrophy on the basis of the reading, the true diagnostic factor is the echocardiogram, which gives the exact dimensions of the enlargement, along with measurements of all the other associated areas of interest to the physician.
