i honestly don't know much about heart attacks or why he is feeling cold. But if I were you, keep him on a STRICT low sodium diet. If he likes salt, there is a salt substitute my step-mom bought me called "No-salt, sodium free salt". Limit his salt intake to less than 4 grams a day, the less the better. Grilled chicken/grilled fish are great meals for him. Also, try to take it easy and keep things calm for him. I have congestive heart failure, not a heart attack, so our conditions are totally different. But I do know, that when you are on heart meds and have had a traumatic heart condition, you prefer to be in a calm/comforting environment. This way, his heart can rest. I would look up some healthy meals, talk to a dietitian.. And be there for him as much as possible.
