How long Can A Person Live With A Right Sided Heart?

After a HA I experienced cardiac death (CD). Approx 90% of the heart died, but then reversed itself over the next 4 days. The heart felt differently, simply put I could not feel as intensely. I had lost about 40% of the intense feeling. Later, I had a right sided HA and shortly after that I had a sinus infection which leaked into my body causing atypical infective endocarditis.  My heart died again, but did not reverse itself, although I experience superficial pain atop the outside layer of the heart.  Please explain this "amazing phenomena" which allows us to live/survive, although for a short duration, by using the right side of  the heart.

Apparently, the heart cells were not necrotic (dead) but hybernating or stunned from  the lack of blood/oxygen.  Stunned myocytes are the result of an acute heart attack, and if given an adequate supply of blood with in several hours the cells can be revitalized.

Hybernating myocytes are the result of blood/oxygen deprivation gradual over a period of time.  Stent, bypass, medication can sometimes revitalize the hybernating cells if not necrotic.  There is no hope for "dead heart cells" unless stem cell therapy is successful!  I had a silent heart attack over four years ago, and my my heart was only pumping out 10-29% of the blood due to damaged heart cells.  It probably can be erroneously stated at worst my heart failed to pump 90% of an adequate amount (55 - 75% of ventricle capacity), but that does not mean my heart was 90% dead!

Endocarditis is different issue.  That is inflammation of the outer tissue.
