Hypercholesterol

I jst got a call that my dad's cholesterol is high and has caused abnormal weight in his legs and hands. Seems like paralysis

If you could provide a little more information it would help. Cholesterol can do the same thing to the arteries in your legs as it does to the ones in your heart. The difference is that when the arteries in your legs get diminished blood flow it can also cause blood to not be able to drain from your legs as well as cause edema, or the retention of fluid in his legs.

If you provide some numbers it would help.

Do you have a better explanation regarding abnormal weight in the legs.  High cholesterol can effect the blood flow to the legs and cause pain!
