I-V Clot help

hi just found out after pain bruising issues with I-V site 1 month ago for colonoscopy, I have a blood clot at Iv site, pain there bumpy and hard...doc says warm heat & aspirin, no swelling.
fingers get cold when don't use arm & swollen when walking for exercise. also feel weak arm and pain where armpit joins chest...afraid this can go to heart?? Is this possible, why month later would this develop...although I did have bruising and pain 1 week after IV was inserted

worried clot will go to heart

The clot probably developed weeks ago, it's just now been found.  The symptoms you describe sound normal for a normal arm, with the exception of the pain.  Follow your doctor's advice and you should be fine.  I've never heard of an IV clot ending up in someone's heart.  I'm not a doctor, but I've never heard of it happening.

Thank you for your wise words...I will folo docs orders...I'm glad to know that this type of clot most likely wouldn't go to heart. Very afraid of that.
