I am facing chest pain with shoulder and jaw pain when walking

I am facing chest pain with shoulder and jaw pain and some times neck pain when walking.I consulted the doctor and he has taken all the tests related to heart(ECG,Thread Mill test,Ultra sound,ct-angiogram,chest Ap x-ray) luckily all are normal and negative. But still I am getting pain when I am walking and even some times when I am at rest.Doctors are saying due to acidity also you will get these type of pains and he suggested me just ignore the pain.

Kindly tell me is there any problem to worry?

I have been experiencing the exact same symptoms with left arm pain included.  I have had all every heart test done except for a cardiac cath done, some of them 3 or 4 times over the course of 3.5 years.  I have seen 5 different cardiologists and they all tell me that it is not my heart.  Unfortunately for me they can't tell me why I am having these symptoms.  I cannot walk up steps without having a rapid heart rate, left arm pain and heaviness in my legs.  I'm just glad that I'm not the only one experiencing this.  I hope you can find an answer so that you can get relief of your sypmtoms.

Blockages do not normally become symptomatic until they reach 70% from what I've read, some one with first hand knowledge may post and clarify this. Also, although possible, heart disease in a person your age with no family history is pretty rare.

If it were me, I would be satisfied with the test results, make some life style changes like cutting out empty carbs, (breads, pastas & sugars) and get on a regular exercise routine approved by my doctor to control my lipids and slow the growth of that 30% blockage. I would also have it checked every year or so for the first few years especially so I could see any changes before it becomes an issue and to look for any others. Are your cholesterol numbers under control (Total less than 200, LDL less than 100 & HDL over 50)? That would be a  number I would want to know.

If you keep having symptoms, I would seek out another opinion, mainly because there was a small blockage forming, but it doesn't sound like you're experiencing heart related pain to me, but remember, I'm not a doctor!

Hope this helps,

Jon

It would be helpful to have more information about you, your age, risk factors and condition. Having said that, you have had about all the tests there are and been checked out pretty well including a CT-Angiogram. Heart disease rarely causes pain at rest, usually during exertion. I don't know what he means by acidity, is he talking about indigestion?

In any case, if you're still concerned about your symptoms you could always get a second opinion. For something to be missed by an EKG, Treadmill Stress Test, Echo and CT-Angiogram would be rare I would think. It sounds like something other than your heart, but I'm not a doctor, you need to get another opinion if your are still concerned.

Good luck,

Jon
