I need some help plz

I am 29yrs old i f ound out today after a heart cath that i have cardiomyopathy and my EF is 43%....what does this mean for me and my life span? i have kids and im scared to die.....the dr said he is going to put me on a bata blocker this coming up week...he also said i have a thing called small valve disease..what is this will some1 please help me

I thing that what dr told you should be "small vessels disease".

My understanding is that,

1) With a 43% EF I do not think you have too much problem with your life span if you follow your cardiologist indications.

2) The small vessels are difficult to diagnose and difficult to solve the symptoms (chest pain)
