I shouldn't ask this...

Because as many of you know I'm extremely anxious.  I have asked to see a counsellor btw.

I sometimes, rarely, get palpitations if I've gone a while without eating and then eat. This is usually around the time of my period and not at other times.  The other day I felt chest discomfort too so called my GP.  He said it was anxiety, but I wasn't anxious until it occurred.

Is there any other reason, other than heart disease that symptoms similar to angina can occur?  :-(
