INFLAMMATION OF CHEST CARTILAGE?

I AM 23 YRS. OLD AND HAVE HAD MILD HYPERTENSION WHICH IS UNDER CONTROL WITH 5mg.OF ZIAC DAILY.I HAVE BEEN HAVING MILD ACHINESS AND PAINS IN MY UPPER CHEST WHICH IS ASSOCIATED WITH MILD ACHINESS OF THE UPPER AND LOWER ARMS.I HAVE SEEN MY DOCTOR WHICH DIAGNOSED ME AS HAVING INFLAMMED CHEST CARTILAGE,FROM CARRYING MY 6 MONTH OLD (WHO WEIGHS 20 POUNDS)AROUND ALL DAY.COULD THIS BE PERICARDITIS RELATED?THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP.

Dear Tonya,

This is not pericarditis, but chostochondritis.  it has no relation to your heart.
