PTPost-traumatic stress disorder lab results. Alos can the effects of
coumadin therapy for deep vein thrombosis be affected by either SIADH or hypothyroidism? Both of these conditions exist due to (I think) chronic use of DVPA and carbamazipine in a severly

Dear Catherine
Both the INR and
PTPost-traumatic stress disorder are measures of blood anticoagulation. The INR is the more accurate and modern method of measurement. There is no way to convert between the two values.
The medicines she is taking can interfere with the effect of
coumadin. Therefore, the INR just needs to be monitored closely, especially with any dosage changes, and kept in a therapeutic range.
I hope this has been useful. Feel free to write back with further questions. Good luck.
