The wall between the two sides of the heart is call the intraventricular septum.  Thickening of this wall can be due to a variety of different factors but the most common is high blood pressure.

Hypertrophic cardiomology and the IVS enlargement indicates there may be a problem with diastolic function.  The problem is the wall thickening impedes the filling process (diastolic) because a thickening of heart wall does not relax sufficiently enough to adequately fill.

What is the problem with the aorta valve?  Has there been a diagnosis with the enlarged IVS and the aorta valve?
