If nuclear stress test is ok does that mean I should not worry?

Hi, I have had chest pain off and on for about a month. (I do have high cholesterol ,diabetes, and thyroid problems and low vitamin D.) I have been to the ER and had ekg, chest x-ray, bloodwork everything ok. Went to Cardiologist and had nuclear stress test. Bloodpressure went up high while on treadmill other than that everything ok. no blockage.

I am still having chest pains. If the nuclear stress does not show anything should I assume everything is ok.

Thanks Tracy

I as a recipient of two different nuclear stress test that showed  I had  no blockages after which  my heart went into fibulation beating at 199 beats per minute.   I had to have a defibulator/pacer put in.

The nuclear stress test is only one test.  The angiogram is the best.  My mom had a nuclear stress test and then three weeks later had an angiogram which proved that her heart was extremely bad.  The nuclear stress test was okay.  My mom was plugged in the three arteries.  Three heart valves were bad and she had cardiomyopathy.  The doctors said that they did not know why she was even able to walk around.  The echocardiogram did not show that her heart valves were that bad either.  She had extreme pressure in her heart.  If the chest pains persist, you may want to consider having an angiogram.   Chest pains can be from spasming arteries, blocked arteries, or heart attack symptoms.
