Welcome to the site, Shark. You have something called Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy which is what this disease is now usually called. IHSS stands for: Idiopathic (cause unknown) Hypertrophic (enlarged) Subaortic (below the atrium chamber) Stenosis (narrowing). My daughter had a very serious case of this disease; we were told it was probably one of the worst in the country. We've lived with it for many years. If you have questions, I would be more than happy to try and help you in any way that I can.

Hi I have  Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy also known as IHSS,ASH . I would also be happy to help out if I can. Best advice I can give is check out the HCMA you are not alone.
