Imdur Therapy

Dear Physicians,
Approximatley 21 months ago I had angiloplasty performed on my LAD as a result of a MI.  My daily medication dosages are as follows: aspirin(325mg), atenolol(50mg), vasotec(20mg), hydrodiuril(25mg), and imdur(30mg).  For the past 17 months I have been jogging 30 minutes daily(2 1/2 miles) and have had two successful thallium stress tests both with normal and similar results.  My hightly vegetarian diet and daily exercise maintains the following cholesterol levels: Total Cholesterol: 170, LDL: 70, and HDL: 50.  I realize I will be on aspirin and the blood pressure medication forever to maintain a blood pressure of 110/70.  My question is:  What is the typical length of time that I can expect to  be on imdur?

In  general, we keeep people on imdur or another nitrate preparation indefinitely in order to maintain vasodilation in your coronary arteries and promote blood flow to regions.
