In need of help

i was born with a congential heart disease called coarctation of the aorta. i had surgery at 3 months. I did good at the surgery, my mother tells me and the cardiologist. I have not had any problems until the last year. I have episodes of passing out, very severe chest pain (left side only), jaw and neck pain, and pain down my left arm, it feels like it is going to fall off half the time. I get short of breath really easy, i can hardly walk a short distance, i get blurred vision, with black spots. I have thyroid problems, chlosterol problems, and my blood pressure in my left arm is really low and the pulse is really faint. Well today i went and seen the cardiologist for a 2nd opinion and the doctors all along been saying that i have left subclavian steal syndrome. How can i have this disease, when they used the subclavian artery when they repaired my coarctation? I have had a lot of test done and i am in so much pain, i am just uncertain what to take the next step as. The cardiologist, said that he would talk to the vascular surgeon, to see what he says, but he is certain that it is not Subclavian Steal Syndrome... I need help on what to do next. Any good cardiologist or Docs around here. I am from northern michigan... Willing to go anywhere. I have been hospitalized many times and no one seems to know what is wrong with me...
