Incomplete right bundle Block

Incomplete right bundle Block

Hi,

My husband has been discovered Incomplete right bundle block in ECG, 2 days back. He is 31 year old and feeling some pain in chest from past couple of days. The pain is not consistent , some time it happens on side some times in center of chest. It is mild pain and he feels uneasy at that time.

He has family history of early heart attacks. My father in law had by pass Sergey at the age of 48.

He is taking Advil to reduce the pain and it seems to be working because of that we are really confused about the pain he is feeling, whether it is some muscular pain or something is wrong with heart. He is very regular with exercise and does weights some times.

We talked to the doctor and she suggested stress test for him. It is scheduled for next week.

Please suggest whether he should go for stress test or not? Does he needs to take any other test too?

What all precautions are needed to avoid any heart related issue?

Thanks,
Ritu

He is at low to moderate risk because even though he is young he has significant family history of CAD. So a stress test may be indicated if one feels his symptoms are suggestive of stable angina. If negative this is reassuring, but a positive test will likely result in a left heart catheterization. The incomplete RBBB has not been shown to be related to either increased risk of death, or linked to coronary artery disease.
