An inferior infarction is usually caused by an occlusion of the right coronary artery and commonly involves the inferior wall of the left ventricle. It can also be called a "diaphragmatic infarct" because the inferior aspect of the heart sits on top of the diaphragm.  This is basically a heart attack or a disruption of the blood flow to the inferior wall of your ventricle. The implications depend on the amount of damage to your heart muscle.

If you could share what tests you had, the results and your symptoms you will most likely get more feedback.

Let us know,

Good Luck!

Jon
