Inflammation around heart

I have been experiencing chest pain (often severe) for about 2 years now.  The pain is constant and sometimes radiates up my nech into my jaw and into my back.  I have had a gazillion tests (CT scan, EKG, GI tests, stress tests, etc.) and thus far the only thing that has showed anything is a gallium scan which showed inflammation around my heart and sternal region.  No one knows what it is or what is causing it.  I have no functional deficits but am in severe pain and live on ultram.  I am currently trying indocine with no effect.  Do you have any ideas?

I would not put much weight in the gallium scan. If you really did have inflammation there causing pain, I would have expected the Indocin to help. Perhaps you have acid reflux, unless the GI tests looked for his also. If it is not cardiac, GI or musculoskeletal, perhaps psychological causes should be explored.
