My boyfriend had to MI's the end of last year resulting in 2 stents being placed. He went back to the cardiologist the middle of February and they said he was doing good. Here recently he has not been able to stay awake. I thought that is was due to the medications that he was taking so I called his PCP and ask him he said that he was not sure but the next time he is in the office he will look at it and see. But my question is he takes plavix, aspirin, lisinopril, Zocor, Zoloft, Coreg, lithium, and methadone. I took him off the lithium thinking that was the cause because after doing research sleeping all the time was something major with that drug. I was also thinking that it could be the Coreg because they up the dose last time he saw the doctor but that has had time to get in his system and not be the problem. What I am wondering is if it could be something else with the heart causing the problem. When I ask him if his chest hurts in anyway he says no but I am just wondering if he is telling me that so that I do not worry about him.

Could it be a combination of all of those drugs mixed in his system???

It could be but I am not sure because as long as he has been on them I would have thought he would have had this problem before now. I will get the doctor to check though. Thanks for you input.
