Inverted T Waves on EKG

I recently had a stress ekg/echo test performed due to chest pain I have encountered over the last few months.  My doctor said that the echo came out completely normal.  He said the ekg was also normal, BUT...my test showed t-wave inversion at different stages of the test, on and off.  T-waves were inverted before the test, and a couple times during.  After the test they were not.  He said this is referred to as "non-specific".  I am still a little concerned about this finding.  The t-waves were down more than up based on what he showed me.  Should I get a second opinion on this issue -- or am I being hypersensitive? Dear JMT,

Your physician is exactly right.  do not be concerned about these T wave changes, they represent electrical changes that will occur in someone with hypertension in response to an increase in heart rate.  they do not mean that you have any significant coronary disease.  The echo is much more sensitive than the ECG in this regard.

I RECENTLY HAD AN EKG THAT CAME BACK WITH THE RESULTS: INVERTED T WAVES. THE HOSPITAL DOCTOR COMPARED THAT EKG WITH ONE TAKEN A FEW YEARS AGO AND HE SAID THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE, A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO THE T WAVES WENT UP AND NOW THEY ARE GOING DOWN ALMOST UPSIDE DOWN. THIS HAS ME VERY CONCERNED TO SAY THE LEAST, IF YOU HAVE ANY COMMENTS OR SUGGESTIONS I WOULD TRULY APPRECIATE SOME HELP UNDERSTANDING THIS SITUATION! I HAVE ALSO BEEN TOLD TO GET A STRESS TEST DONE AND I AM STILL AWAITING THE DOCTOR TO CALL ME BACK TO SET UP THIS APPOINTMENT. IS THERE ANYTHING THAT I SHOULD DO TO HELP THIS PROBLEM UNTIL THEN?
