I had a stress test a couple of years ago after an EKG finding inverted T Waves. The stress test came back fine.
However, I am now getting flutters & jumps in my heart again. I had another EKG with inverted T Waves. I am going to wear a heart monitor for 48 hours to see what they find.
Am I having heart problems?
Shell53,
Thanks for the post.
T wave changes are non-specific. Inversions of the T waves can be caused by something benign, like hyperventilation or electrolyte changes, or by something severe like lack of blood flow to the heart.
Heart damage on a stress test can likewise be rather minor or rather severe. Either way, heart damage usually indicates blockages of heart arteries. Many cardiologists recommend heart catheterization after abnormal stress tests.
The low blood pressure could be from many things -- starting with the medicines you may or may not be on.
There is simply no way for me to speculate as to whether or not you'll be able to return to work.
